For consumers and families
You decide who works with you. This page tells you what working with us looks like, so you can decide.
Your choice
You may talk with more than one provider before you choose. Your counselor can tell you which providers are available to you and how choosing works. We will not tell you whom to choose. We will tell you what we do and what to expect.
What to expect
- An evaluation. An evaluator asks how your disability affects your school or work, and what worries you most. You can bring a laptop, a phone, and a person you trust. The evaluator wants to hear mostly from you.
- A written report. It lists the tools we recommend and why, and a plan for learning them. Your counselor receives it and reviews it with you.
- Training, if you and your counselor go ahead. A trainer works with you one-on-one, at your pace, where you live, study or work.
Everything is shaped to how you learn. If something is not working, tell your trainer so the approach can be adjusted.
What we do not do
- We do not promise a particular result or a particular schedule.
- We do not decide what is paid for. That question goes to your counselor.
- We do not ask you to sign up through this website. It has no forms.
Questions
